Day
110:00 am- Our guides greet you in Tofino at our designated meeting place. After safety instruction & paddling techniques from the guides, we navigate our way to a desolate beach for lunch. Later in the afternoon we reach Vargas Island for our first night stay. We are greeted by our host Neil Buckle and after a tour of the property we are free to explore or catch up on some reading before dinner. Enjoy a glass of BC wine and watch as your guide prepares an inspired meal of local ingredients like Albacore Tuna or wild BC Salmon. Finish your first day with a wood-fired beach front sauna & evening swim before retiring to your room.

Watch for seals & sea lions along the rocky shores and reefs on the outer coast of Vargas Island, as well as rare seabirds. Practice your new skills when arriving on Medallion beach for a pic-nic style lunch. An opportune time for a beach hike, intertidal exploring and photos of the dramatic Pacific coastline.
