Itinerary

    1

    Our journey will begin in the quaint, seaside town of Ladysmith. We’ll meet at 9:00 a.m. and launch from Transfer Beach early enough to enjoy a leisurely paddle to Valdes Island; home of fascinating eroded sandstone cliffs, honey-combed hollows and sandy beaches. We will camp for the next 2 nights on Valdes.

    2

    There will be opportunities to hike on the island, paddle along the shorelines of Valdes and nearby islands, enjoy beach walks and take pleasure in exploring the abundance of intertidal sea life on and offshore.

    3

    We’ll head back to Cedar-by-the-Sea to maximize our touring time and enjoyment. We’ll drive back to our original launch location in Ladysmith at approx. 4:30 p.m.
