Development at Toquart Bay is essentially comprised of a BC Forest Service campground and store. In 2001, the Ministry of Forests undertook significant improvement at the site which now offers over 80 designated sites with tables and fire-rings, a large lawn area, trees and plants, 7 restrooms, and a day-use parking area. The site has facilities to launch boat and kayaks.
