Itinerary

    1

    Pick up and transfer to Cowichan Bay. Load and launch. We paddle to Musgrave Landing, where we will have time to explore Sansum Narrows.

    2

    Paddling the southern section of the Island, we will make our way across Satellite Channel to explore Portland Island and spent the night at one of the beautiful beaches here.

    3

    Today we paddle past Ruckle Park and onto Prevost Island, where we will begin to see spectacular sandstone sculpted rocks. We will spend the night on Prevost Island.

    Our journey now travels along the eastern shoreline of Saltspring with a few beautiful beaches on route to our goal for the day on Wallace Island.

    From Wallace we get an early start to paddle down the western shoreline of Saltspring and through Sansum Narrows where we will pass impressive granite cliffs before arriving once again at Musgrave Landing for our last night.

    Our journey today will take us back to Cowichan Bay, taking our time to enjoy exploring the estuary and its amazing bird life. We plan to be off the water shortly after mid-day to avoid local thermal winds.
