Welcome to Vancouver Island Kayak
The west coast of Canada reveals a Shangri–la of towering mountains, steep fjords, isolated beaches, untouched rainforests and abundant marine life. Within this vast stretch of coastal wilderness, our kayak tours feature Vancouver Island and the Queen Charlotte Islands.
Our kayak tours of Vancouver Island offer scheduled departures in seven locations, from the Mediterranean-like Gulf Islands, to the wilds of Johnstone Strait, where you can kayak with Orcas, or “killer whales”. Further north lie the Queen Charlotte Islands. As the only part of Canada that escaped the last Ice Age, kayaking the Queen Charlotte Islands brings to light a flora and fauna dramatically different from those of the mainland.
Vancouver Island Kayak.com is owned by Midnight Sun Adventure Travel, a registered tour operator and travel agency in Victoria on Vancouver Island, BC. We are licensed by the British Columbia Consumer Protection Authority (#3042) and have been delivering inspiring adventure holidays for the “untourist’’ since 1995. Once you have selected your kayak tour of the west coast, we can also help with transportation and accommodation arrangements, and anything else you need to enjoy a top quality kayak vacation.

As we spoke earlier I can't thank you enough for being the facilitator in what truly has to be the best or at at least one of the best holidays of my life. I only say one as my husband is not here and I wish he could have experienced the wonders of British Columbia nature first hand.
I had two wonderful but very different kayak trips. The first to the Broken Island Group and the second up here in Port Mc Neil. I enjoyed both for different reasons. Different geographies. Wildlife and also fellow travellers on the trip but both wonderfully well organised and the natural beauty of this place speaks for itself.
I have to say what stands out for me is the incredible BC training of the sea kayak guides which is very consistent throughout the island and they truly cope with a lot. Different clients of different abililites and they remain jovial. Confidence inspiring and knowledgeable and they all can cook better than most people I know in central London with all mod cons.
The wildlife speaks for itself. I felt privileged and lucky to be close to a beautiful hump back whale one day and a group of sweet trusting harbour seals the next. Both equally enjoyable and seeing them so close and curious rather than threatening is truly awesome and humbling.
Anyone who has never kayaked or been to V ancouver Island is missing out on life and needs to get here for at least 10 days
Ann
