Topics covered: wet exit and recovery training, paddle strokes, tour preparation, gear and safety instruction, touring, assisted rescues

    Your instructors are Paddle Canada certified! We are pleased to offer professional instruction and quality equipment for our classes. This 10hour course will take place at Eco-Adventure Centre, Transfer Beach Ladysmith and the Frank Jameson Community Centre Pool. Upon completion of the course, participants receive a Paddle Canada Sea Kayaking Level 1 Skills certificate. 9:30-11:30 a.m. Meet at Transfer Beach Park's Eco-Adventure Centre, Ladysmith 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 pm Pool Session - Frank Jameson Community Centre You will practice: -dock entry -wet exits without sprayskirts -wet exits with sprayskirts -self rescue without paddle float -self rescue with paddle float -assisted rescues
