This trip can be adapted to 3 and 5 day trips for custom groups. Our gourmet camp food is hearty and plentiful, and can be adjusted to meet your dietary requirements.


  • Day

    Pick up from any ferry or aircraft landing terminal or hotel in Sidney/North Saanich. Once you arrive at our put in at Cowichan Bay you'll have time to pack your equipment into the dry bags we provide. The guide will give a safety talk on land and provide basic paddling instruction. The first days' paddle to camp will be short, allowing your body to get used to the activity.

  • Day

    After breakfast, we break camp and make our way to a new location. Our timing and destination will be dependent on currents and conditions. Explore the Gulf Islands. Islands we variously explore include Salt Spring, Portland,Wallace. Wildlife

    Wildlife spotting opportunists include seabirds, Osprey, bald eagles, sea lions seals, orcas and dolphins.

"One of the Best Holidays of My Life"

Here's a fantastic comment we received from Ann after her kayak vacation last August, her second Vancouver Island Kayak tour.

Scott, As we spoke earlier I can't thank you enough for being the facilitator in what truly has to be the best or at at least one of the best holidays of my life.  I only say one as my husband is not here and I wish he could have experienced the wonders of British Columbia nature first hand.

I had two wonderful but very different kayak trips.  The first to the Broken Island Group and the second up here in Port Mc Neil.  I enjoyed both for different reasons.  Different geographies. Wildlife and also fellow travellers on the trip but both wonderfully well organised and the natural beauty of this place speaks for itself.
